Welcome to Girl Scouts of Shining Trail Council - serving over 3,000 Girl Scouts in Southeast Iowa and Western Illinois. We are proud to have more than 600 adult volunteers dedicated to serve our girls. Girl Scouting is open to all girls ages 5-17 and all adults.
As a member of Shining Trail Council, girls have the opportunity to explore in so
many ways. In addition to council and service unit activities, all girls may participate in service projects-ways to use their skills and talents to benefit others, Girl Scout events-girls can participate in trips, tours, play days, camping weekends and troop activities.
A volunteer board of director is the policy-making body of the council. The council is divided into 10 associations and 10 service units. The volunteer members on the service teams provide the primary services to the troops. A staff of 12 provides assistance and service to the volunteers.

Girl Scouts of Shining Trail Council owns and operates a 150-acre outdoor education site: Camp L-Kee-Ta
Camp L-Kee-Ta is located six miles south of Danville, Iowa. Camp features include a lodge, troop house, tree houses, platform tents, cabins, huts, a health and wellness center, infirmary, swimming pool and a shower house. Campers also enjoy hiking and horseback riding trails and an activity area with bleachers and lighting for summer theater and winter ice skating. The camp provides facilities and equipment for day, resident and year-round troop camping. Camp L-Kee-Ta meets the standards of Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. and is accredited by the American Camp Association. More...
The Cullen Girl Scout Center, located in the Flint Ridge Business Park in West Burlington, Iowa, is home to 12 staff members and Your Girl Scout Shop.
Your Girl Scout Shop is also open 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. the 1st Saturday of February, March, April, May, October, November and December. Two conference rooms are available as meeting space for community groups. Contact the Cullen Girl Scout Center for availability.

From the south: Take U.S. 61 north to Burlington. Turn left on Division Street. Turn right on Broadway, the Cullen Girl Scout Center is on your right at 1308 Broadway.
From the north: Take U.S. 61 south to Burlington. Turn right on Agency Street. Turn left on Broadway, the Cullen Girl Scout Center will be on your left at 1308 Broadway.
From the west: Take U.S. 34 east to West Burlington. Exit at Gear Avenue. Turn left onto Gear Avenue. Turn left onto Agency Street. Turn right on to Broadway; the Cullen Girl Scout Center will be on your left at 1308 Broadway.
From the east: Take U.S. 34 west to Burlington. Exit at Roosevelt Avenue. Turn left onto Roosevelt Avenue. Turn right on Agency Street. Turn left on Broadway, the Cullen Girl Scout Center will be on your left at 1308 Broadway.
